Sunshine and warmer temperatures for Michiana today

This morning temperatures are in the upper 20s to lower 30s, so make sure to bundle up before heading out the door. This afternoon, plan on plenty of sunshine with high temperatures warming into the upper 50s to lower 60s. It will be a great day to get outside. Around midnight tonight a quick round of isolated light showers will move through Michiana, this round will be very low impact, and looks to clear during the early morning tomorrow. We will catch a short break from the rain through mid-morning tomorrow, but then a more scattered rain chance arrives just before lunchtime. With this round expected a few heavier downpours. Scattered showers will stick with us through the early evening. We will stay mostly dry into Tuesday, but then another round of showers and storms arrive Wednesday. This round could bring the potential for strong to severe storms here in Michiana. Temperatures throughout the week ahead will warm into the 60s and 70s by Wednesday, and then another cool down arrives heading into next weekend with highs dropping back into the 50s. Rain chances also look to hold in the forecast for next Saturday and Sunday as well.
