Happy Labor Day and first day of Meteorological Fall! Temperatures will hover right around 80 degrees this afternoon, near average for the time of year. Mostly sunny skies during the daytime will transition to mostly clear overnight, causing some of the heat to escape back to the upper atmosphere and forcing temperatures into the low 50s. Tuesday is the warmest day Michiana will see in the foreseeable future with expected highs in the low to mid 80s accompanying plenty of sunshine. Wednesday starts off quiet and sunny near 80 degrees, but an evening cold front brings showers and possibly a few storms to our area that will cool us down overnight. The rest of the week's high temperatures stay in the mid 60s with overall quiet and somewhat cloudy weather.
Today: Mostly sunny. High 80.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 54.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 82.
Wednesday: PM thunderstorms. High 80.
