Tuesday is another dry, “sunny” day with temperatures warming to 76 degrees this afternoon. The sun will be masked again by smoke in the atmosphere. This smoke is leftover from western wildfires. It is high enough in the air that it does not present any problems for air quality or breathing. It will look like a milky haze hanging in the air again today. Watch for interesting sunrises and sunsets! Because of the haze, temperatures aren’t as cool this morning, with most in the low or mid 50s.
Wednesday is another sunny but hazy day. It is the warmest day of the week with a high around 80. Wednesday overnight, a few showers are possible along a cold front. This front could help clear smoke out of Michiana air. Temperatures cool to 70 Thursday afternoon, but it gets even cooler Friday and Saturday--highs are in the mid 60s.
Both Friday and Saturday night temperatures are in the low 40s, so you might start planning to bring plants indoors overnight. The weekend is dry with sunshine, just cool.
Today: Sunny/hazy. High 76.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 52.
Wednesday: Sunny/hazy. Overnight showers. High 80.
Thursday: Few showers early. Partly cloudy day, breezy. High 70.
