ELKHART, Ind. -- Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group, a non-profit dog rescue, is sending six puppies to the Puppy Bowl. Leading the charge is Rhett, a basset hound that's become one of the final two contestants in the Puppy Bowl Most Pupular contest ahead of the Puppy Bowl on Sunday.
ABC57's Summer Horan sat down with Rhett and Jen Schwartz of Homeward Bound to discuss the Puppy Bowl, the work Homeward Bound does, and what to consider if you want a puppy of your own.
In the Most Pupular final, Rhett is facing off against a Boston Terrier from Georgia named RuPaw. If you would like to vote for either puppy, you can visit the Puppy Bowl website.
