One local Michiana mom is looking to make a Southwest Michigan park more inclusive for area kids!
Right now, Kiwanis Park is home to a dog park, sports fields and skateboarding but lacks a place for kids with all abilities can play.
Nikki Stusick, whose own child lives with a disease that limits his ability to play, joined ABC57’s Summer Horan to talk about the fundraising effort to bring a universally designed, all abilities playground to the park, called Kaleidoscope Park.
