Summer Opening at South Bend Museum of Art

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Museum of Art invites the public to their Summer Opening, taking place on Friday, June 7, at 5 p.m.

The museum is celebrating four exhibitions, including "Around the Bend," "Liminal," "Home Grown Hype," and "Chance n' Charlie."

Museum officials say this opening is the culmination of abundant creativity in the community.

Organizers say there will be new and established artists present to mingle among fellow artists and art admirers.

The upstairs studios one, two, and three, will have a free garden themed activity for kids to make and submit their artwork to the Garden Walk.

The kids' art will then be displayed in a garden at St. Mary’s College.

The opening is from 5 to 8 p.m. at the South Bend Museum of Art.
