ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Sunday, June 1st, 2025

It was a great start to meteorological summer today with lots of sunshine and some really warm temps. Tonight looks cool and clear again as lows fall to the 40s. There’s a chance Michiana could catch a glimpse the Northern Lights across Michiana tonight. The chance is on the lower end as solar activity sent charged particles our way a little earlier than expected. That said, viewing might not be ideal, even in dark spots, thanks to some lingering haze from Canadian wildfire smoke.

The warm weather sticks around as we start the week, with highs in the 80s Monday and pushing close to 90 by Tuesday. Humidity stays low, so it’ll be warm but comfortable. Tuesday will also be breezy, with clouds building in ahead of our next chance for rain and a few non-severe storms starting Wednesday.

We’ll keep those rain chances around through the end of the work week, and temperatures will cool back into the 70s by Friday. There’s even a slight chance for a few more showers early next week.

Tonight: Clear, low Aurora chance, though smokey conditions may limit view. Low 49.

Monday: Hot, sunny, hazy. High 84.

Tuesday: Hotter, some clouds, gusty. High 88.

Wednesday: Showers likely. Warm. High 82.
