ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Monday, June 10th, 2024
Any high waves on Lake Michigan should relax overnight as the breeze calms this evening. It will be another brisk evening, with temperatures eventually falling into the middle 40s overnight. The weather on Tuesday will be pristine, with lighter winds, lots of sunshine, and highs in the middle 70s. Summer swings in by the Wednesday, however. Highs will soar into the upper 80s Wednesday and near 90 on Thursday. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday evening, with damaging straight-line winds the main threat at this time. The heat doesn't break for long after our round of storms. Highs will be near 80 on Friday, but spike back into the 90s by Father's Day. A heat wave looks likely to start next week, with highs in the 90s and heat index values in the triple digits possible.
Tonight: Clear, less breezy and brisk. Low 44.
Tomorrow: Mostly sunny and pleasant. High 74.
Wednesday: Sunny and hot. High 87.
Thursday: Partly sunny, hot and humid. Chance for strong thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. High 90.
