Studebaker building confirmed to be taken down

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A piece of South Bend history is getting demolished.
The old Studebaker Foundry is being torn down to make room for new business coming to Ignition Park. The 586,000 square-foot engineering building has been empty since 1963.
The demolition will cost $6 million.
