Street repaving in Elkhart starting September 14

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – The Elkhart Street department will be paving several roads during the week of September 14th. Vehicles will need to be removed during the process.

During the repaving times, vehicles must be moved off the street before 7 a.m. and may not return until after 7 p.m., if the barricades are no longer in the way.

Sidewalks will be accessible but the street itself will be unusable.

Work will take place on the following streets and dates:

• Monday, September 14th – St. Claire Ave. from E. Jackson Blvd. to Wood St.
• Tuesday, September 15th – Bowers Ct. from E. Jackson Blvd. to North Dead end
• Wednesday, September 16th – N/S Alleyway between E. Jackson Blvd. and Lexington
• Thursday and Friday, September 17th and 18th – Cone St. from Bristol St. to Woodlawn Ave.
