One more day of our heat wave! Saturday will be another hot one in the mid 90s with heat indices near 100 under partly cloudy skies. Lows tonight though will continue to stay muggy in the low 70s. The heat will break beginning Sunday as a cold front comes through. The cold front will result in thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday morning, and a few isolated wind gusts up to 60 mph are possible. Otherwise, widespread severe weather is not expected. Humidity and temperatures drop briefly late Sunday into Monday as pleasant weather settles in. However, with another surge of heat and humidity, thunderstorms will make another appearance Tuesday into Wednesday. Those storms could be strong to severe, especially Tuesday evening into Tuesday night, but details are still uncertain. Overall, next week will be more typical with highs mostly in the 80s and lows finally back into the 50s and 60s.
Tonight: Partly cloudy and muggy. Low 72.
Saturday: Hot and partly cloudy. High 95. Overnight storms.
Sunday: Morning showers with afternoon clearing. High 83.
Monday: Clear and more comfortable. High 83.
