UPDATE: Statewide Silver Alert cancelled for 74-year-old Highland man

HIGHLAND, Ind. -- UPDATE: The Silver Alert for Edward Harrington has been cancelled as of June 18.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Highland Police Department is investigating the disappearance of 74-year-old Edward Harrington, described as a white male, six feet tall, 180 pounds, gray hair with brown eyes, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans, and sandals.

Harrington was last seen on Monday, June 17, at 9 a.m. 

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
