SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- St. Margaret’s House announced their Winter Walk will take place on Sunday at 2 p.m., starting from South Bend City Church located at the renovated South Bend Tribune Building.

Doors will open at 1 p.m. with a short welcome rally at 1:50 p.m.

Organizers say the walk offers a new look at the experience of women in the community who must rely on their feet for transportation no matter the weather.

The route is one mile and loops through South Bend ending at St. Margaret’s House.

Organizers say there will also be cookies, hot cocoa, popcorn, live music, and more fun after the walk.
