St. Joseph County Soil and Water Conservation District to host first ever Meet Your Farmer event

Saint Joseph County Soil and Water Conservation District SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Saint Joseph County Soil and Water Conservation District is set to host their first ever Meet Your Farmer event in Mishawaka on June 27.
The event is set to cover topics such as cover crops, soil health, and the environmental concerns over changing weather patterns.
In addition to this, the goal of Meet Your Farmer is to bring together local farmers, legislators, and community members to discuss how conservation practices will impact everyone in the county, and what people can do to help contribute to clean water and healthy soil.
Meet Your Farmer will take place from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Laidig Farm, 15267 Madison Road.
