Spring E-Sports call out and tournament Sunday
E3 Robotics Center ELKHART, Ind. -- E3 Robotics Center is leveling up STEM education with the launch of its E-Sports call out and mini tournament, an exciting opportunity for students to explore competitive gaming as a pathway to teamwork, strategy, technology, and career-ready skills.
The event is for students from 7th to 12th grade and will take place on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the E3 Robotics Center located at 3709 Cassopolis Street in Elkhart.
“This is more than gaming,” said Brian Boehler, Executive Director of E3 Robotics Center. “E-Sports develops collaboration, decision-making under pressure, and technical literacy. It’s another powerful entry point for students who may not yet see themselves in traditional STEM programs—but absolutely belong there.
The event invites students to discover how esports connect to real-world problem-solving, communication, and leadership—skills that mirror those used in robotics, engineering, and technology careers. Participants will have the chance to compete, connect with peers who share their interests, and learn how esports fit into E3 Robotics Center’s broader mission of preparing K–12 students for the future.
