The special election to fill US Rep. Jackie Walorski's seat has been scheduled for November 8, according to Gov. Eric Holcomb.
Rep. Walorski represented the Second Congressional District in Indiana. She died in a crash on August 3.
The special election will be held in Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, La Porte, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, Starke, St. Joseph and Wabash counties.
The person elected will take over Rep. Walorski's seat until January 3, 2023.
