South Bend St. Patrick's Day Parade returns for 26th year
Downtown South Bend SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade returns for its 26th year Saturday, featuring floats, marching bands, and Irish dancers. The parade is free to attend and open to all ages.
According to Downtown South Bend, the parade will start at 11 a.m. before heading through East Bank Village on Jefferson Boulevard in downtown South Bend.
After six years away, the St. Patrick's Day celebrations will return to Seitz Park, with South Bend Venues Parks & Arts hosting live music on stage. Kennedy's Kitchen is planned to perform from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Concessions will also be available for purchase in the park, starting at 10:30 a.m.
The parade will be emceed by South Bend DJ and radio host Gino J "The Godfather" of Mix 102.3 and led by Grand Marshals Mark McDonnell, the founder of LaSalle Grill, and Andrew Galloway, the restaurant's managing partner for 30 years.
