South Bend-serving Catholic paper celebrates 100th anniversary

Today\'s Catholic

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Today's Catholic, the print and online publication that serves the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, announced that it is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026.

Today's Catholic started as the Diocese of Fort Wayne edition of then-Bishop John Francis Noll's Our Sunday Visitor on Jan. 3, 1926.

The paper ran under that name until December 1972, when it was renamed The Harmonizer. Then it changed its name again to Today's Catholic in 1986, when editorial control was transferred from Bishop John M. D'Arcy to the diocese.
