SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Law enforcement will have increased presence at all South Bend high schools today after threats posted to social media.
South Bend Community School Corporation reports multiple social media threats circulating that have not been verified but are being considered unsubstantiated.
The district encourages students, parents and faculty to report any concerns anonymously to the QuickTip portal here.
The South Bend Police Department says it's aware of multiple schools nationwide receiving similar threats, which means this is likely not an isolated threat to South Bend schools or other Michiana districts that were affected last week.
Police ask anyone with information on this case to report information anonymously to 574-288-STOP.
