South Bend Regional Airport expecting increase of holiday travel

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Regional Airport is expecting an increase of crowds during the upcoming weekend.

Students at Notre Dame are wrapping up finals and then many are expected of fly home for the holidays.The airport also expects traffic to pick up next Wednesday, that's the first day South Bend schools are out for winter recess.

The airport expects to be even busier the Friday before Christmas when Mishawaka schools let out.
