SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Police are asking for the public’s help identifying home invasion suspects seen in the above surveillance video.
Police warned that the above video is disturbing, as a young boy can be seen hitting one of the armed suspects as he tries to defend his home.
On September 30, around 10:30 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of S. Grant for a report of a shots fired.
Police then learned there had been a home invasion at the scene.
Four men, all wearing hoodies, knocked on the front door.
A child opened the door and the four men forced themselves inside, police said.
At least three of the four men were armed with handguns, according to police.
The suspects left the scene and more shots were fired.
Police said no one was injured in the incident.
The video above provided from the South Bend Police Department shows the suspects inside of the home.
Anyone with information about the incident or the subjects in the video can contact Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP or 800-342-STOP. South Bend Police can be reached at 574-235-9263.
