South Bend Police Department hosting Quilts of Valor presentation on June 13

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department is hosting a Quilts of Valor presentation June 13.

Quilts of Valor: In the Bend, the local chapter of Quilts of Valor, plans to present 13 officers from the South Bend Police Department with handcrafted quilts.

The quilts are meant to honor and comfort officers for their service.

Each one is made by a local volunteer.

The presentation will be at 11 a.m. on June 13 in the South Bend Police Department's auditorium.
