South Bend Police Athletic League to host first ever boxing event

South Bend Police Athletic League SOUTH BEND, Ind. - On May 24, the South Bend Police Athletic League will host their first ever Boxing Showcase.
The event will take place at the Beacon Resource Center, located at 4210 Lincoln Way West, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Eight boxers from the Athletic League will compete throughout the evening.
The Athletic League has hosted a boxing club since 2006, which aims to teach youth peaceful and positive ways to cope with frustrations instead of resorting to gun violence.
This event aims to teach the community more about the program.
