South Bend man sentenced to 70 months for methamphetamine charge

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A South Bend man was sentenced to 70 months in prison after pleading guilty to possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced.

On January 27, 44-year-old Jason Cochran had a large amount of cash and over 50 grams of methamphetamine that he intended to distribute, according to case documents.

Cochran has eight prior misdemeanor convictions and three prior felony convictions, according to reports.

He was sentenced to 70 months in prison and four years of supervised release.
