South Bend man sentenced to 5 years for distributing meth

A South Bend man has been sentenced to 5 years in federal prison for distributing methamphetamine, according to the US Attorney’s Office.

Eric Lauderdale, 37, was also sentenced to 4 years supervised release.

In October 2019, Lauderdale was accused of selling a quarter pound of methamphetamine to another person in South Bend.

In December 2019, agents executed a search warrant on the house Lauderdale left during the transaction in October and located loaded firearms and other items indicative of drug dealing, reports said.
