South Bend man sentenced to 25 years in prison

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend native, 20-year-old Darius Jamal Vaughn, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison with minus 1,310 days of jail credit after his charge for Murder was dismissed.

Vaughn, charged in Dec. 2020 with aiding, inducing or causing murder and conspiracy to commit murder, in addition to a firearm sentencing and gang sentencing enhancement, in connection to the murders of Malik Balderos and Ricky Kinds Jr.
