SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A fire displaced 28 residents of an apartment complex in South Bend Wednesday night.
Firefighters responded to the apartments on South Main Street just after 11 p.m.
Five victims of the fire had to be rescued, and three were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is currently helping all of those people with places to stay.
