South Bend Cubs to host second movie night in mid-August
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Cubs announced that they will hold a second movie night on August 14 and the featured film will be The Sandlot.
The movie will begin playing at 8 p.m. and the gates will open to the public at 7 p.m.
The South Bend Cubs took a poll across all their social media pages on which movie they should play and The Sandlot was the top choice.
General admission will cost $10 and attendees will be allowed to sit in the seating bowl or the outfield grass.
You can also bring a blanket/towel, but umbrellas and lawn chairs are prohibited.
Only 1,500 tickets will be available, and you can purchase them at the South Bend Cub’s website.
Two separate concessions stands will be open in addition to the Steakadelphia stand.
Anyone attending will be asked to follow social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer will also be placed throughout the concourse.
