South Bend Cubs announce homestand events for opening week

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Cubs have announced the homestand schedule leading up to Opening Night on April 4.

April 1: The South Bend Cubs arrive from Arizona at approximately 4:30 p.m.
April 2: The team will have breakfast at PEGGS on Michigan Street at 9 a.m.
April 3: Exhibition game against the University of Notre Dame men's baseball team at 6 p.m. [more info]

Opening Night, April 4 against the West Michigan Whitecaps

• Gates open at 5 p.m.
• National Anthem to be performed by Chicago Cubs featured artist John Vincent
• First 2,500 fans receive a South Bend Cubs 2019 Magnet Schedule
• Balloon artists, face painters and other surprises on the concourse
• Post-Game Fireworks Extravaganza

April 5: South Bend Cubs vs. West Michigan Whitecaps 7:35 p.m. Fireworks after the game.
