SOUTH BEND, Ind. - If you love classic cars you can get your fill and help support children throughout Michiana.
Saturday, a car show will raise money for the B.E.A.R. Reading Center.
The center teaches children who have dyslexia and other language disorders.
The money raised will go toward the center's budget to buy items such as pencils, magic markers and other supplies.
We talked with the center's director, who says the start of school usually means more parents turn to them for help.
“We do have some coming in in the fall. Just because parents are remembering what it was like for their child in the previous year,” says executive director Kim Haughee.
Registration for the car show starts at 10 Saturday morning at the center, which is located at 427 North Main Street in South Bend.
