Severe weather unlikely today, but not impossible
Scattered snow showers are riding along the back end of high pressure to our east and being propelled by a surface low to the northwest. Plan on this light snow not accumulating to more than an inch in most communities this morning and wrapping up around noon in Michiana. Temperatures warm to near 40 degrees this afternoon but wind chill makes us feel closer to the upper 20s and low 30s the rest of the day. Lows drop to near freezing tonight but stay just warm enough to support tomorrow morning's precipitation falling as rain. Highs reach the low 50s tomorrow afternoon and the low 60s on Friday with quieter and generally sunnier weather expected at the end of the week. The weekend forecast looks generally pleasant with highs around 60 degrees and partly sunny on both days.
Today: Morning snow. High 40.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 32.
Thursday: Morning rain. High 52.
Friday: Mostly cloudy. High 62.
