MICHIANA - A number of places in Michiana have reported damage from Tuesday afternoon's storms, including tornadoes in Michigan.

Portage, Mich. Mayor Patricia Randall released a statement around 8:50 p.m. about Tuesday's storms:

"Two tornados touched down in Portage this evening with extensive damage to both residential and commercial properties. Per our Chief of Police, Nick Armold, we are still assessing the damage. Over 21,000 people without power. Neighboring communities are trying to assist but downed trees and wires making travel slow."

No injuries or fatalities have been reported at this time.

FedEx released a statement to ABC News:

“Our thoughts are with those affected by the tornado in Portage, Michigan, and we are grateful there were no serious injuries resulting from the damage to our facility at 6701 Portage Road. We continue to assess the damage, and we are implementing contingency plans to lessen any potential impacts on service.
