Six arrested after stolen property, methamphetamine found
CASS COUNTY, Mich. - Six people were arrested after deputies found stolen property, methamphetamine, and more during a search of residences on Twin Lakes Road, the Cass County Sheriff's Office reported.
On Friday, deputies performed two search warrants on addresses in the 54000 block of Twin Lakes Road in Wayne Township.
The search took place because of suspicion that stolen property would be found in that area.
During the search, deputies found stolen property, methamphetamine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, evidence of manufacturing methamphetamine, and an illegal firearm, reports said.
Six people were arrested on the following charges:
- 37-year-old man arrested on the charges of larceny and receiving and concealing stolen property
- 44-year-old man arrested on the charges of receiving and concealing stolen property and possession of methamphetamine
- 35-year-old man arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine components
- 32-year-old man arrested on outstanding warrants
- 58-year-old man arrested on outstanding warrants
A 26-year-old man allegedly ran from one of the residences that was being searched but was later caught.
He was arrested on the charges of motor vehicle theft, receiving and concealing a stolen vehicle, resisting and obstructing, and outstanding warrants.
Deputies are submitting charges on other occupants of the residences.
