We are still tracking showers and storms this afternoon and evening, with the main threats still being flooding and gusty winds. We cannot rule out an isolated tornado, though that threat is on the lower end. Storms could possibly linger overnight and into Sunday morning , but will wane by the afternoon hours.
Temperatures are expected to quickly increase to the 90s by the beginning of the week, with indices likely reaching the triple digits. A cold front will move in Wednesday, bringing another round of showers and storms, dropping heat and humidity by the end of the week.
Cooler temperatures will settle Thursday and last through the first weekend of August.
Tonight: Storms and showers. Low 72
Sunday: Early showers then clearing, humid, mild. High 84.
Monday: Hot, humid, slight chance for showers. High 90.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, hot. High 90.
