Our active period of weather has ended, leaving behind patchy fog and calm conditions this morning. The cold frontal passage will return our high temperatures towards the low 80s today and tomorrow, giving our area a brief reprieve from the hot and humid weather with sunny skies overhead. Lows fall back into the upper 50s tonight with mostly clear skies tonight, a byproduct of diurnal heating. Expect partly cloudy skies tomorrow to give way to mostly sunny conditions on Father's Day alongside a substantial warmup into the low 90s. A heatwave will likely take hold of Michiana from Sunday onward into at least the first half of the week with heat indices right around 100F expected Monday and Tuesday as hot and humid conditions continue to build.
Today: Sunny. High 82.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 57.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 83.
Sunday (Father's Day): Mostly sunny. High 92.
