ORIGINAL STORY:
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- According to the Mishawaka Police Department, officers were called to the 1900 block of Milburn Boulevard around 6 p.m. on Sunday for a call of shots fired that left a woman dead.
When police arrived, they found a 28 year old woman suffering from a gunshot to the chest and was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
Police are still gathering evidence from the scene and interviewing witnesses at this time.
There are no arrests at this time and police are saying this appears to be an isolated incident.
