MISHAWAKA, Ind. – A deadly shooting at Mishawaka Avenue and Logan Street leaves one dead.
The shooting happened at 1:34 a.m. Sunday morning.
Dominique Herron, 24, of South Bend, IN has been identified as the victim who died at the scene.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.
Police administered medical aid, but the woman was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Saint Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has taken over the case
St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit has arrested Jeanette Williams, 24, of South Bend, IN on preliminary criminal charges of Criminal Recklessness and Reckless Homicide.
At this time those charges are being reviewed.
