Shakespeare makes appearance at Notre Dame campus

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Shakespeare made an appearance at Notre Dame's campus July 14!

The Shakespeare Festival presented "Shake-Scenes" this afternoon.

Dozens of actors from the community took the stage with their  unique spin on some of Shakespeare's most beloved works.

Actors put on two different performances each offering 10-minute scenes.

"We try to involve kids of any ages in immersing themselves in the langauge and actually acting it out beacuse shakespeare was a playwright who wanted to be heard and not just read," said Jay Paul Skelton.

Tickets to the event were free!
