Storms through the afternoon and evening hours will likely bring widespread damage and heavy rain to Michiana.
Damaging winds are the highest threat from this system, and south of US-30 has a higher chance of seeing tornadoes, though all of Michiana could see an embedded spin-up with these storms.
Chances for heavy rain bringing flash flooding are also increasing, especially around the US-30 corridor.
Widespread rain and storms are expected through the early afternoon, then severe weather chances increase past 4:00 PM, with strong storms likely everywhere in our viewing area.
