Michiana's getting ready for stormy weather today. A warm front lifts through early this morning, bringing a chance for showers and storms centered around the morning commute with scattered heavy rain possible. While severe weather is not likely this morning, the second round of storms brought on by a passing cold front, moving from the southwest to the northeast, will have a much higher chance of producing all modes of severe weather. The timing for highest severe potential is 3 PM ET to 9 PM ET with heavy rain, gusty winds, isolated tornadoes, and small hail all possible. The rain ends late tonight, leaving behind a quiet rest of the week with breezy conditions and mild temperatures.
