Services announced for Joseph Buttigieg

SOUTH BEND, Ind.—The services for Joseph Buttigieg, father of South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg, have been announced.
Joseph Buttigieg, 71, passed away on January 27 at Memorial Hospital following an illness.
Kaniewski Funeral Homes in South Bend is handling the arrangements.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 1 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Morris Inn on the University of Notre Dame’s campus.
A memorial service will be planned for later in the spring.
Donations in his memory can be made to the South Bend Community Foundation.
