Semi fire causes back up on toll road Monday morning

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A mid-morning fire on Monday caused some back-ups on the Indiana Toll Road.
Police say a semi carrying food products caught fire Monday around 10 a.m. at mile marker 78, near the Notre Dame exit.
The fire consumed most of the cap of the semi.
The driver escaped injury.
Traffic was restricted to one lane while crews cleaned up the mess.
