Section of Seventh Street in Mishawaka closing to traffic Wednesday morning

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka has announced that starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, W. Seventh Street, between West and Spring Streets and the intersection of S Spring Street, will be closed to thru traffic.

"This will be Phase 3 of several subsequent phases of construction thru 2024," city officials said. "Weather permitting, this closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, Sept. 13 at 5:30 p.m. Updates regarding this project will be sent as construction phasing progresses."

There will be barricades and signage in place during the closure and drivers are expected to use caution to ensure the safety of the crews working in this area.
