Beautiful summer day in Michiana
SOUTH BEND, Ind----
May 20th marks Kids to Parks Day across the nation, in an effort to get kids connected to their local, state, and national parks.
For the past 13 years, National Park Trust has used the day to celebrate the public grounds, and encourage young people to get out and explore them.
This is South Bend Venues, Parks, and Arts 3rd year getting involved in the fun.
The day started off at Pinhook Park and over to Potowatomi Park for a free day off fun this afternoon.
From facepainting, to a full schedule of events on the boomer, there was fun for the whole family!
