SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports Officer Jose Capeles was called to speak with a teen who was having a rough morning on Thursday.
It was the first day of school and after a few minutes of talking to the teen Capeles learned the reason he didn't want to go to school that day.
The teen never got a chance to get a haircut before classes started and was worried he'd get picked on.
Capeles then drove the student to MK Barbers in South Bend to help the teen feel confident for his first day of school.
Capeles then drove the teen to school so he wouldn't miss his first class of the day.
