SOUTH BEND, Ind.--- South Bend Community School Corporation voted Monday night to resume in-person instruction. The proposal was approved by a 5-2 vote.
The first students will return starting Monday October 5th. CTE and special education students will return on that day.
The majority of students will return during the week of October 12th.
Elementary school students will return five days a week. Middle and high school students will use a hybrid model.
The vote comes with the support of 71 percent of South Bend parents and students who said they would return to in-person classes during a survey sent out earlier this month.
