Another round of rain, then a cool weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Salvation Army Kroc Center in South Bend celebrated its 10 -year anniversary Friday morning.
The center has been a staple for the community for 10 years. The facility in South Bend is 110,000 square feet and it's one of the largest community centers in the area!
Construction for the Kroc Center began in May of 2010, and it opened its doors for the first time in January of 2012. Since then, the Kroc Center is has helped many in the community.
The Kroc Center offers a center for worship, a performance venue, a fitness recreation center, a pool, and a few other things.
The non-profit marked its major 10-year milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a guided tour of the facility.
