ELKHART, Ind. -- At approximately 9:06 a.m. the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a single vehicle crash on 21213 S.R. 120 in Elkhart.

The driver of a 2014 Honda Accord, 19-year-old Cyanna McKnight of Elkhart, was traveling westbound on S.R. 120, when she passed another vehicle at a right rate of speed and lost control of her vehicle.

Upon losing control of the vehicle, McKnight entered multiple yards on the north side of S.R. 120, hitting a utility pole, rolling, and coming to a rest on its wheels.

McKnight was transported to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

Alcohol was a factor in this crash, McKnight was arrested for OWI.
