Smoke still lingers in Michiana with an Air Quality Alert still in affect through the day today. Most likely we will be noticing some clear skies through the afternoon with easterly winds helping to push out some of the smoke. Even with the smoke, conditions are expected to be similar to yesterday, perhaps slightly warmer in areas. Mostly clear skies last into Monday with another slight warm up. The gradual warming trend continues through the week getting closer to the 90s near the end of the week. With the increase in temperatures, we are also expecting an increase in humidity, which gives us chances for afternoon pop-up showers in the middle of the week, though this is most likely to happen on Tuesday. Our next best widespread shower chance is next weekend, after the warm-up.
Today: Similar to yesterday, only slightly warmer. High 81.
Tonight: Some clouds, cool. Low 58.
Monday: Less haze, warm. High 83.
Tuesday: Very scattered afternoon storms, warm. High 84.
