Renaissance Fair wraps up at Plym Park in Niles
NILES, Mich. -- Medieval style was out in full force this afternoon in Niles, as the Renaissance Festival took over Plym Park for its final day.
The fest featured old timey activities for all ages, and plenty of people were dressed up in costumes for the festivities, including wizards, elves, princesses, and even dragons.
"The best thing is when those first few people come into the into the fair in the morning, that first morning, and their faces light up when they see all the vendor booths and all the people dressed up and everything, it's what makes all the toil before fair opens really worth it, and all the kids, all the kids that come in that do the scavenger hunt you give them, even though it's just something very little, they're, they're ecstatic every time," stated Co-owner of Wolf's Head Productions and Queen Curiel of the Niles Renaissance Fair Carrie Nyenhuis.
And folks were able to bring some of the style home with them, as there were also vendors at the fest, selling items such as jewelry, shields, and even handmade swords.
